I assume she'll then create a second iPhoto library that exists on an external HDD. My concern is when, in the future, her photo library grows such that her files exceed 1TB. If that were the only difference I'd pick Backblaze in a heartbeat. Backblaze is appealing because it's only $5/month for unlimited backup. I am deciding between Backblaze and iCloud. She understandably wants a cloud backup solution and asked me to look into it, being the family tech servant guru. About 250GB of that is photos, with 400GB being videos.
